Cub Scout Pack 1702 provides a program for boys that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
We are proud to provide a foundation for building future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. We hope that the whole family will participate in the journey on the path to Boy Scouts.
Pack 1702 meets monthly during the school year at Fulton Elementary School in Fulton, Maryland. Scouts also meet once or twice a month in smaller “dens” which are based on grade-level.
We are a completely volunteer-driven organization which relies on active parents helping to make our many events and activities successful and to provide effective leadership to our scouts. The pack’s year-round program is overseen by a committee which is directed by the Committee Chair, while monthly pack meetings are overseen by the Cubmaster. In addition, parents and other family members are an integral part of a successful cub scout year.
Scouts are grouped by age in “dens” which are led by a Den Leader and Assistant Den Leader.
