Leader Training

If you are an adult leader, you will need to complete the following training modules:

1.) Position-Specific Training (choose the training module relevant to your position)

2.)  This is Scouting (overview of the scouting program)

3.)  Youth Protection (how to ensure scouts are kept safe while in the care of adult leaders)

*First time users will need to create a new account

Training HOW TO:

To Take A New Course (or renew Youth Protection):

1.)    Login to MyScouting account using your UserID & Password (or create new account)

2.)    Click on E-learning (on left hand column under My Profile)

3.)    Scroll down page (using scroll bar on right)

4.)    Click on Cub Scout tab (will only show cub scout related training modules)

5.)    Locate relevant course, click Take Course

6.)    PRINT OUT completion certificate

To Obtain Copy of Completion Certificate:

1.)    Login to MyScouting account using your UserID & Password

2.)    Click on E-learning (on left hand column under My Profile)

3.)    Scroll down page (using scroll bar on right)

4.)    Click on Cub Scout tab (will show only training modules related to cub scouts)

5.)    Locate relevant course, click View Certificate

6.)    PRINT OUT

Connect User Account to Membership #:

1.)    Login to MyScouting account using your UserID & Password

2.)    Click on Update My Profile (on left hand column under My Profile)

3.)    Scroll down until you see Membership Info

4.)    Select a Council: Baltimore Area Council

5.)    Type in your Member ID (found on card issued by the BSA – if you cannot locate contact Committee Chair)

6.)    Click Add
